Secret Seduction
To Katie life was simple, she wanted; a little house in upper Boston, and four kids, fathered by her best friend, who she’s been infatuated with since she was eight. After a devastating family secret is exposed, all she wants now is to escape the media hype that follows her everywhere she turns. Leaving her family, friends, and Jason behind, she travels to places she’s only read about, to find a father she’s never known.

Jason is on a mission and he’s come half-way around the world to complete it. Despite his feelings for Katie, he won’t let her resistance detour him, even if it means she’ll never trust him again. As their world spirals out of control, their relationship will be tested and changed forever. If he can only keep them alive and out of harms way, he may have a chance to make everything right.

Secret Pleasure
After a terrible breakup and the loss of her dream job, Airlea is just looking for a fresh start. When her mother takes it upon herself to help, Airlea finds herself working for a wealthy family back in Italy, whose son was recently involved in a serious auto accident. She jumps at the chance to escape Greece and leave her worries behind, unaware of the new dangers she now faces in Rome. To further complicate things, she now must deal with the most arrogant patient she’s ever seen, which would be a lot easier if he wasn’t so damn sexy!

Dante is fed up with his broken body. All he wants to do is work through the pain and try to get his life back to normal. Instead, his mother hires an amazingly bossy nurse to help with his rehab, which might go a lot easier if she wasn’t so damn hot! Trying to keep his nosy family out of his business and vying for the affection of his beautiful nurse could end up being a dangerous affair.

Secret Guardian
Ann can’t tolerate the new guy assigned to her camera crew. She’s been in journalism long enough to know when someone is full of himself. And this guy is so full of himself, he can’t seem to point the camera in the right direction. Her latest assignment in Brazil, seemed harmless enough, but now she’s in over her head and the only way out is to trust the man that helped put her in the line of fire to begin with.

Ethan is ex-special forces with a stellar record and long resume of top secret missions. Leaving the military was a tough decision, but working for himself provides the freedom he loves. Taking the occasional high-profile security job helps pay the bills and keep his need for excitement at bay. When he takes an undercover job for an old client, his years of training and experience are put to the test. However, babysitting the senator’s daughter proves to be a challenge he can hardly resist.

Secret Passions
Sandi has escaped her old life. She’s shed her hijab and her family obligations to start a new life, alone. It’s been five years since she first stepped foot in America to save her life. She’s earned enough money to live comfortably, thanks to her artwork. But just when she finally feels like she can start to relax and not jump at shadows, her past returns, hot on her heels. Now she must trust the man who saved her years ago, and ask him to do it once again.

Mitch risked it all to bring the young girl to America years ago. And when she shows up at his door in the middle of the night all grown up, he’ll do everything he can to help her again. Dodging her past has gotten a lot harder this time, but they might survive—if he can keep his hands off her.

Hot Mess by Anne Conley

I was given this book as a beta read, so my review will not include many details until after the book is released.

I couldn’t put Hot Mess down & finished reading it in one sitting. Ms. Conley, has out done herself with this one.

There were tears, laughter, joy, concern, and many more emotions in this riveting tale of real-life characters.

I enjoyed the nature of the relationship between the main characters and loved how it grew. I felt she was true to the topics featured in this book and believed she touched on a subject that will make the readers want to know more.

Thanks Anne for a great read!

3 Days by Krista Madden

What I liked about the book:  I was drawn in immediately. The characters are so real, so believable you’ll instantly fall for them. Blaine is very likable and I can’t wait to read more of this adventure. Miss. Madden does a great job of describing characters and scenes I was enthralled instantly. There were times I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen. I couldn’t put the book down. It was an easy read and flowed at a very nice pace. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy a little romance with your end-of-days stories.

What I didn’t like about the book:  That I have to wait to finish the tale… I can’t wait to read more…

Other Great Heroes

Here’s to the heroes in my life. People who’ve either been there for me or helped me in one way or another.

These wonderful people didn’t ask for anything in return, they didn’t do their deeds for profit, or personal gain.

Some I’ve linked to their sites, so stop by and learn more about these truly awesome people.

Thanks for all your help and support.

Blog tour for Masquerade the third book in the Sevy Series

Follow the blog tour as it winds down:

June 8, 2013 ~

Now enjoy an excerpt from the latest in Sarah-Jan Lehoux’s exciting series.

Excerpt from Masquerade the third book in the Sevy Series:

Two hours later, after vomiting every last bit of himself over the side of the boat they borrowed from a fisherman, Conny had fallen into a fretful sleep, while Yy’voura chattered away without so much as pausing to take a breath. Sevy had tried to block her out, but the girl was like an insect, buzzing and circling without landing until one was forced to take a swat at it. Sevy somehow found herself adding an “Oh,” or a “You don’t say,” to Yy’voura’s ramblings. She now knew all about Yy’voura’s wander, about how she had come to the island, and how she acquired her two loyal followers.
“I met Conny first,” she said, fondly patting his head and gazing down at him. Sevy knew that look. The girl was in love. With a human. Oh, she could just imagine the conniption Yy’voury would throw once she found out. “It took him forever and a day to warm up to me. I think I’m the first dark elf of his acquaintance, so it’s no wonder he was a bit shy, but I wore him down eventually.” [Read more…]

My Editor – Erica Ellis

2012-03-11_17-01-20_363Erica Ellis has been a huge help in correcting my less than perfect grammar. I’m a speed typist and it’s been years since I thought about typing anything other than code. So, when I started writing books I needed a lot of help with corrections. Erica came to my rescue. Thank goodness!

I’m happy to say that I’ve hired her to help me out with each of my books. If you’re an author and looking for an editor, let me just say, shop no further.

Here is a link to her page. Go, check it out and see what a truly awesome person is like.
